The Annual Fund
Supporting the Annual Fund is one of the most important gift you can make because it directly supports the educational program and impacts each and every child.
Each year, the cost of providing a River School education exceeds tuition revenue. Tuition covers only 84% of the actual cost of educating our students. The Annual Fund Campaign is conducted each fall to offset this difference and fund the daily operating expenses that are necessary to maintain our unique academic program.
2011-2012 Annual Fund Goal: $340,000
- Small class sizes
- Competitive salaries for faculty and staff of the highest caliber
- Increased scholarship dollars
- An unrivaled arts and sciences program
All members of our community are asked participate in this important effort and give to the maximum of their ability. In 2010-2011, we raised $306,000 from:
- 87% of the Board of Directors
- 100% of faculty and staff
- 85% of current parents
- Many current grandparents, parents of alumni, corporations, foundations and friends
