3rd Annual Golf Tournament

The River School 3rd Annual Golf Tournament will be held on May 15, 2008. Thanks to many supporters and golfers, the first two tournaments raised over $53,000 for the rooftop playground. This year, we are turning our attention to something near and dear to all your hearts--River School faculty. Our goal this year is to raise $30,000 to support faculty compensation and development. As you know, our staff is at the heart of our exceptional program and the school is dedicated to retaining and attracting the most highly-qualified and talented professionals in the region.

We welcome your participation in the tournament -- all skill levels are welcome for the fun day. Organize a foursome from your class or with work colleagues. If you don't have a foursome, we can put one together for you. If you don't golf, there are many other ways for you to be involved, as well:

• Attend the May 1 Tournament Kick-off Cookout
• Sponsor a staff spouse to play in the tournament
• Be a tournament sponsor or ask your employer to support the tournament
• Donate an item for the raffle or items for the player goodie bags
• Volunteer to help the day of the tournament

We hope that many of you will join the tournament committee for a fun day of golf camaraderie and fresh air--all for a good cause, your teachers!
